Elder Hamiltons Mission Tour

We have been so privileged over the last two days to spend time with Elder and Sister Hamilton of the 2nd quorum of the 70's.  They are on a mission tour of South Africa.  On Tuesday July 22 they held a Young Single Adult (YSA) fireside for the young adults of the stake.  He allowed the YSAs to ask him any question they wanted to about anything they wanted to know.

This is our Mission President and Sister Zackrison.

Tuesday night the Senior Missionary couples who live in Bloemfontein provided a delicious dinner.  Sister Huls provided the Chicken Cordon Blu and the beautiful table decor, Sister Carlile made the rice, rolls and green salad, I brought the fruit salad and lemon meringue pie.

Our Mission President, President Zackrison, Sister Zackrison, Elder and Sister Hamilton, the three missionary couples the Huls, the Carliles, Elder Edington and I and members of the Bloemfontein Stake presidency, President and Sister Grobler, President and Sister Ntsomotho and President and Sister Nyatshoba were all there to enjoy a wonderful evening together.  It was very exciting.

On Wednesday there was a zone conference for the
Bloemfontein, Welkom and Lesotho Zones.  There
were nearly 50 elders.  The spirit was very strong as
we received instruction from such wonderful
servants of the Lord and it was so uplifting to be
with all these young men who there sacrificing two
years of their lives to serve the lord and the people
    of  South Africa.
These missionaries make up the Welkom Zone.  They serve in Welkom, Virginia, Phahameng, Kroonstad, Bethlehem and Phutaditjhaba  Elder Edington and I are on the far right.  I now know why they always make me stand in front.  It is almost impossible to see me and I was on the third step up.
These missionaries serve in the Lesotho Zone.  They serve in the cities of Maseru, Masianokeng and Leribe, in the country of Lesotho, which is located inside of South Africa.

These Elders and Sisters make up the Bloemfontein Zone.  They serve in Bloemfonten, Blomanda. Rocklands, Kimberly. Botshabelo, and Thaba Nachu.

After being spiritually feed the missionaries are physically fed, which is always a challenge.  Elder and Sister Carlile Order pizzas which is appreciated by all the missionaries.  They order a half of a pizza for each missionary so they had twenty-five plus pizzas.  Every bit was eaten and I am sure they would have eaten more if there had been more.
Fruit is always served but it does not always get eaten.  At least we  try to get fruits and vegetables into their diet.

The Senior Sister Missionaries always make brownies which are devoured rather quickly after they are put out on the table.
President Zacrison enjoys the Elders and truly loves them and they love him too.
